Mantras For The Rest of Us

After my most recent podcast with the lovely Liz Dyer I’ve been thinking even more than normal about the role that shame plays in our lives and how simple acts of love and showing up can change a persons trajectory.

We all have shame! Sometimes that shame is like white noise playing in the background of our daily lives- there but not completely destructive. And sometimes that shame is on the highest volume and is compounded by our family of origin, politics, laws, bigotry, racism, you name it.

Our ACTIVE KINDNESS to those around us can be a form of inoculation in a world that likes it’s “norms”. The key word is active kindness. Fighting and pushing toward a world where we don’t have to fight for intersectional rights (all of us free) but where we can focus on doing the work of healing the planet. There is a lot of work to be done but we are all worth it.

I can dream!

I can dream!

I can dream!
